This Christmas, London will unveil an enchanting new winter attraction: Neverland at Kenwood, the very first Peter Pan-themed light trail.
From November 21 to January 3, the historic grounds of Kenwood House in Hampstead Heath will be transformed into a stunning immersive outdoor light trail, celebrating JM Barrie’s classic tale.
For its inaugural year, guests are invited to trace Tinkerbell’s fairy dust trail from the rooftops of London straight to the heart of Neverland, soaring through the Darling family’s home, gliding past a illuminated Big Ben, and stepping into a magical realm filled with wonder and adventure.
Discover secret hideouts of the Lost Boys, the mysterious Skull Rock, and Captain Hook’s iconic pirate ship. This innovative trail merges dazzling light displays, captivating storytelling, and a rich soundscape that breathes life into Barrie’s cherished world.
Neverland promises an unforgettable adventure, creating a magical experience for visitors of all ages during the festive season.
Zoe Bottrell, Managing Director of Culture Creative, the creative minds behind this light trail, shared: “Neverland embodies the spirit of adventure and is perfect for an outdoor setting. We’re thrilled to collaborate with GOSH Charity once again following last year’s success at Blenheim Palace. Our creative team has been eager to transform this timeless story into an immersive experience.”
Chris Carter, Head of Partnership Development at GOSH Charity, stated, “Neverland at Kenwood offers a truly magical opportunity for families to immerse themselves in this beloved world this holiday season. JM Barrie graciously donated the rights to his story to Great Ormond Street Hospital in 1929, and each ticket sold will help ensure that the charity can continue providing critically ill children with the care they need for a better childhood.”
The trail will also feature a delightful array of refreshments, from gourmet street food and cozy winter treats to indulgent hot chocolates served under the stars—making it the ideal Christmas outing for families, couples, and friends.
With easy access from all across London and neighboring counties, Neverland at Kenwood is poised to become one of the city’s top holiday destinations.
JM Barrie’s legacy continues this Christmas as we proudly support Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity, which raises essential funds for seriously ill children. A £1 charitable contribution is included in the ticket price, which Raymond Gubbay Ltd. will donate (+ VAT) to GOSH Charity (Registered charity no. 1160024).
