A remarkable cast featuring top talents from the West End and screen has been unveiled for The Nutcracker Noir, an innovative immersive dining experience. Set to run for a limited engagement from November 26 to December 21 at Protein Studios in London’s Shoreditch, this production adds a modern, noir-inspired twist to the beloved Christmas classic.
This unique show is created in collaboration with the renowned scene designers, DesignScene, and the immersive storytelling experts, Secret Theatre. Together, they will transform the venue into a festive wonderland, intertwining spectacular performances and theatrical narratives with a lavish dining experience curated by Jenny McNeill of Feast & Fable.
Leading the cast is Anita Nicole, known for her role in Amazon Prime’s The Rings of Power, stepping into the shoes of Clara. She is accompanied by West End luminaries Jairus McClanahan (Hamilton) as Frank Zane, and Patrick Wilden (Cabaret) as Jazz. The ensemble also features talents such as Christopher Howell (Punchdrunk), Jessica Alonso (The Great Gatsby – Madrid), and Shoko Ito (Wicked).
Adding to the impressive roster are David-Michael Johnson (The Bodyguard), choreographer Alex Codd, and a vibrant group of performers, including Tianna Sealy-Jewiss, Phoebe Coray, and Safeena Ladha.
The production is led by a powerhouse team of industry veterans, with immersive pioneer Richard Crawford taking the reins as writer and director, alongside co-director and choreographer Gary Lloyd, a West End stalwart. DesignScene’s founder Attila Keskin is on board as producer.
