Revived by İBB Heritage’s restoration, Büyükada’s Taş Mektep hosts the solo exhibition The Outside Grows by visual artist Denef Huvaj. The exhibition serves as a call to pause and reflect amidst the fast pace of modern cities.
Focusing on themes of belonging and identity, photographer Huvaj embarks on an exploratory journey through walking paths in this exhibition. Her photographs transform trails lost in nature, pilgrimage routes, and isolated city streets into layers of meaning with each step, inviting viewers not only to observe a landscape but also to pursue a deeper contemplation.

Denef Huvaj’s exhibition is open for free visits at Taş Mektep until September 7, 2025, every day except Monday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
