The Hives have unveiled their latest single, “Paint A Picture,” accompanied by a captivating pop-art music video that matches the energy of the song.
This track is a part of the Swedish indie band’s forthcoming seventh album, ‘The Hives Forever Forever The Hives,’ which is scheduled for release on August 29 through PIAS. Pre-order or save it here.
While the band has performed this song live at various shows, it is now officially available for fans to enjoy. Talking about “Paint A Picture,” The Hives explained: “It’s about convincing yourself and others that living outside of society is a worthwhile choice. This has been a long-time favorite among fans lucky enough to hear it live.”

Recently, it was announced that Yard Act will be joining The Hives on their headlining tour across the UK and Europe in 2025. This year, the band will also be embarking on a tour in support of their new album.
During the summer and autumn, The Hives will perform in Australia and North America before heading to the UK and Europe, with Yard Act providing support. Key dates include:
