November 29, 20252 min read

Industry is set to return for its highly anticipated fourth season, as confirmed by HBO.

On November 24, HBO revealed that the new season will premiere on January 11. It will consist of eight episodes, each airing weekly until its finale in early March. In the UK, the series will air exclusively on BBC.

Alongside the premiere date, HBO has dropped an intriguing teaser trailer that hints at the characters confronting some of their toughest challenges yet, particularly following Yasmin’s (played by Marisa Abela) decision to marry Henry Muck (portrayed by Kit Harington).

The trailer features a moody soundtrack with Nina Simone’s cover of “Lilac Wine,” showcasing a mix of intense moments: blood, dancing, passionate encounters, and a tense confrontation between Harpe (Myha’la) and Yasmin at a bar.

The teaser also introduces new cast member Kal Penn, who will portray Jay Jonah Atterbury, described as the “CEO and founder of payment processor Tender.” Additionally, Stranger Things star Charlie Heaton will join the cast as Jim Dycker, a finance journalist.

Kiernan Shipka (from Twisters and The Last Showgirl), Jack Farthing (from Towards Zero and Rain Dogs), Toheeb Jimoh (Ted Lasso and The Power), and Amy James-Kelly (Three Families and Coronation Street) will also make appearances in the upcoming season.

However, one notable absence will be Harry Lawtey, who played Robert Spearing. His departure is reportedly due to scheduling conflicts, as reported by Deadline, although specific details about his other commitments remain unclear.

Season three of Industry marked the show’s success with the addition of Kit Harington, earning praise from fans as some of the “best ever” television episodes. The finale was celebrated as “one of the greatest season finales I’ve ever watched,” described as “momentous” and “insanely good” by viewers.
