Morrissey Set to Tour Europe in 2026

November 30, 20253 min read

Morrissey is gearing up for a European tour next year, and we’ve got all the details for you below.

The former frontman of The Smiths, Morrissey, previously announced a headline show at The O2 in Greenwich, scheduled for February 2026. This will mark his only UK performance of the year. He has now added 11 additional dates across Europe, starting in February and continuing into March.

The tour kicks off in Denmark on February 13, before moving to Germany, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands. He will perform in London on February 28 and then continue to France, Switzerland, Italy, and Spain.

As announced on social media, venue presales will begin this Thursday (November 27) at 10 AM local time. A Spotify presale will also be available at that time, using the password “MAKEUP.” General ticket sales will open on Friday (November 28) at 10 AM local time; you can purchase tickets here.

Morrissey’s 2026 European Tour Dates:

February:

  • 13 – Scandinavian Congress Center, Aarhus, DK
  • 15 – Hamburg Sports Hall, Hamburg, DE
  • 17 – Jahrhunderthalle, Frankfurt Am Main, HE, DE
  • 20 – Rockhal, Esch-Sur-Alzette, LU
  • 24 – De Doelen, Rotterdam, NL
  • 28 – The O2, London, GB

March:

  • 04 – Zenith De Lille, Lille, FR
  • 07 – The Hall, Zurich, CH
  • 09 – Factory, Milan, IT
  • 12 – Palace Of The Arts, Valencia, ES
  • 14 – Zaragoza Auditorium, Zaragoza, ES
  • 16 – Cartuja Center, Seville, AN, ES

Tickets for some dates are already available.

This announcement follows Morrissey’s recent decision to quietly cancel his South American tour due to what was described as “extreme exhaustion.” All November dates were axed in light of his health concerns, including two shows in Mexico.

Despite these cancellations, his upcoming solo show in Greece and US dates in January 2026 remain unaffected. This isn’t the first time Morrissey has faced challenges on tour—earlier this year, he postponed shows in the US due to illness and cancelled a show in Stockholm, citing travel fatigue and lack of industry support.

Morrissey has been openly frustrated about the music industry, particularly regarding the release of his long-anticipated album “Bonfire Of Teenagers,” originally scheduled for 2023. He has expressed that he feels “gagged” over its release, pointing to issues with the media and industry.

In recent comments, he indicated that he has completed two albums that are still awaiting release and cited pressure from media outlets as a significant barrier. Morrissey’s journey continues to unfold, both onstage and off.
