Queens Of The Stone Age has revealed plans for a North American tour inspired by their unique one-off performance in the Paris Catacombs.
This tour follows their stripped-down concert in July, where the band performed without an audience, accompanied by a three-piece string ensemble. They creatively reinterpreted several songs using unconventional alternatives to a traditional drum kit. Each song was recorded in a single take, capturing the raw energy with no edits or overdubs.
To commemorate this groundbreaking event, which later became a concert film, the band is embarking on a theatre tour across the U.S., delivering a similarly poignant rendition of their music.
The tour will kick off at the Chicago Theatre on October 2, with additional shows scheduled in Detroit, Toronto, Philadelphia, Boston, and New York City throughout the month. After a brief pause, the tour resumes in mid-November with a performance at the Arlington Theatre in Santa Barbara, followed by stops in San Francisco and Los Angeles on November 10 and 11, respectively. The tour will conclude in Austin and New Orleans later that month.
Tickets for the tour will go on sale this Friday (June 27) at 10 AM local time. Attendees are encouraged to embrace a formal dress code for the theatre settings.

The film received a four-star review from NME, highlighting the immersive experience of the performance, which took place during significant circumstances for the band.
